Dubai– October 17, 2022- At the annual enterprise technology and global digital transformation event GITEX in Dubai, Robert Jenkin, the CEO of CloudSigma,  and Mohamed Metwaly, General Manager Whitech, signed the contract for the new location for Cairo, Egypt. The new location will provide best-in-class IaaS and PaaS services to organizations wishing to deliver services to the Egyptian market with local sovereignty. End customers will have the possibility to use provisioned Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and Virtual Private Cloud solutions using familiar tools.

The new location will be powered 100% by HPE hardware and services providing a stable and high-performance foundation. The new Cairo cloud will help develop cloud adoption within the local market by expanding services that can be powered by a cloud delivery mechanism to include those needing local data sovereignty and low latency through a locally hosted solution owned by an Egyptian company. This is a timely debut that may also aid in fostering Egypt’s economic growth and expands CloudSigma’s network of Middle Eastern locations.
