CloudSigma is proud to announce that it has joined forces with Japanese Telecom industry leader IPS to deliver a Tokyo-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform. For the past 20 years, IPS has committed itself to building a robust telecommunication infrastructure and has grown into a full-fledged global company. The new partnership with CloudSigma will further allow IPS to provide public cloud IaaS services to customers out of their Data Center in Tokyo.
“Although we have been serving the Japanese telecom market for over 20 years, we recognised the fact that in today’s fast-paced digital world, companies require low latency, a secure, convenient and affordable IaaS platform. Therefore, we are looking forward to the collaboration between the enterprise grade public cloud of Cloudsigma and the innovative telco services of IPS. The partnership will generate new opportunities for business acceleration and growth for our customers.”Yoshimitsu Ito, Telecommunication Dept. Director @ IPS Inc.
Key Value Added Services
The IPS facility is a Tier 3 Data Center. It has a direct connection to Tokyo T50 fiber ring infrastructure. Furthermore, the Data Center supports different carriers including KDDI, NTT, Softbank, Colt, BIGLOBE, Sony-bit Drive, UCOM, USEN, Tokai Communications and INFINIVAN. At the same time, customers’ data will remain safe with IPS’ proven record, backed by ISO 27001 certifications.
The collaboration between CloudSigma and IPS aims at serving the rapidly expanding Asia-Pacific market. Thus, it will enhance CloudSigma’s current portfolio of APAC locations, including Manila, the Philippines, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Perth and Melbourne, Australia.
The new cloud location will provide Japanese customers with a highly flexible and customizable cloud deployment. Thanks to the partnership with CloudSigma, IPS will be able to provide unprecedented quality of customer support and flexibility. For example, it will provide direct live chat support, 24 x 7 x 365 for all clients in English with an average response time of less than 30 seconds. In addition, users would be able to take advantage of IPS’ value-added services. IPS offers a wide range of telecommunication, collocation and software-based services that go hand-in-hand with the cloud as combined solutions for the end users.
HPE Partnership
In addition, the new cloud is powered by one of the world’s most reliable hardware, HPE Gen10 Servers. The servers offer high industry standards, delivering exceptional performance, both from compute and storage perspective. This has been made possible thanks to CloudSigma’s successful partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
“The new Tokyo cloud is the perfect compliment to our network of clouds in the region and will help support existing customers expand their deployments. With IPS we have a partner with a strong track record and focus on high quality services and customer support which directly aligns with our own business ethos.”Robert Jenkin, CEO @ CloudSigma
CloudSigma has been a part of the HPE Partner Ready Program since 2017. The collaboration enables leading IT service providers, data centers and telecommunication operators around the globe deliver best-in-class cloud services to end-customers via the Cloud-as-a-Service model (CaaS). In addition, CloudSigma is a member of the HPE-sponsored Cloud28+ community. With over 750 members and 26,000 services available, Cloud28+ helps unite customers with partners. The community focuses on matching workload and business needs to the right local expertise and support.
The offering adds to CloudSigma’s unique value proposition. Our cloud enables its services to be deployed across its network of locations while not requiring modifications and without change in the quality of the service. On top of that, CloudSigma provides adjustable billing methods. Our unique pay-per-use model provides customers the flexibility to deploy resources according to their unique needs.
